Overview
Level 7 represents the medical school journey, where students earn either the Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. This rigorous 4-year program combines foundational sciences with clinical rotations, preparing graduates for residency training.
Medical school is divided into two phases: pre-clinical years focused on basic sciences, anatomy, physiology, and pathology; followed by clinical years with rotations through major specialties including internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, psychiatry, and obstetrics/gynecology.
